Don't you hate it when someone says they will be "giving it 110%"? What does that mean? It's tough to even quantify the effort that one puts forth (other than half-assed), but how can we give more than the maximum?

I think that in reality, they weren't trying as hard as they could before - maybe 85 or 90%, and they are now going to really do a better job. However, with their obvious lack of math skills, it could be that this new "110%" is actually more like 70%. They have no idea! It's like Nigel Tufnel of Spinal Tap turning all the knobs on his amp to eleven.
