Things I've Learned About Myself
- I hate eating lunch by myself
- News stories about farmers coming together to harvest the crop of a recently departed neighbor always make me tear up
- It really bothers me when someone brings a laptop to a meeting and types incessantly (work unrelated to the meeting) while others are talking. It was all I could do to stop myself from reaching across the table, taking the computer away, and telling him he couldn't have it back until the meeting was finished

I hate eating by myself too, I always try to avoid it if I can and if not find a really good book to read while eating.
I'm sorry was my typing annoying you? Here let me take my phone and pager off silent mode. OH YEAH THATS BETTER, WHAT THIS NOISE BOTHERS YOU? Let me turn it down then. We had a guy like that where I used to work. We threatened to put magnets on his laptop if he didn't stop. He didn't believe us till he saw all the refrigerator magnets sitting on my desk one day!

I'm always tempted to say things like "Hey! If you're done with that laptop it's my turn now!" Why is it that our manners were best in kindergarten...
